grandma's passing

went up to melaka as planned yesterday on saturday morning and guess what, its sunday afternoon and ive been home long since then... my ah ma passed on early saturday evening, and for one, im real glad she aint suffering any more pain. secondly, kristie, james, babes and i were all there with my mum so we could all lend a comforting shoulder or 2.
right now, most of our family members are already in jb where the funeral procession is taking place in the house. when i called her earlier to wish her 'happy mother's day', she said she was happy that all the family is around...like a happy reunion! anyways, i stayed back cos of dreaded deadlines...but the funeral will take a full 5 days so ill go on down to add on to the hub bub anyways :) dunno how long a leave i will be granted when i see the boss monday. well...see how la. meanwhile, all you fellas take good care of yourselves and be happy!

claire and hayden

Heroes was fantastically awesome, as my colleague said it would be...! i believe that there are still some out there who havent watched a single episode! How can?!! haih...anyways...this time the plot started out all twisty and yummily...with added suspense and drama and all. you discover that some moved on with their lives, some died...the bad 'uns became more powerful...(gasp!)
claire and niki are as pretty as ever! nathan is...ooh lala... the plot presents the story as if he died though...so sad...id have liked to be handed over his flying prowess! HEHE... what i watched were just episodes 19 & 20... cant wait to watch more of the magic and fantasy unfold! omg...i just remembered i still have desperate housewives to catch up on...how come that sounded pathetic to me the moment it was typed...geez. anyways, ketchup soon! :)

Yatta!

"there he goes again". that was the first thought that came to mind when he was put on another 'job' this evening. the fact that he called me after dinner to say he was asked to fix something in town instead lightened things up a little...but still, doesnt count for much, if u catch my drift.

im home. just had my dinner and was watching the telly when i felt like it was time to tell my blog more stories. so here i am!

today was one of those okay days. i actually felt kinda numb, not even having the energy to protest when more work was heaped onto me shoulders. oh well, deep inside my career brain i knew these extra responsibilities were coming. anyways, gonna be watching the first 2 episodes of the new season of Heroes tonight!! my colleague informed me this morning of how farking awesome she found the episodes..."must-watch man.." she said. well, thats good enough for me! story you soon... :)

hit me

i dunno what to make of my boyfriend's job. the schedule that demands his time is never timely (if ever there is one), and murphy's law sure as hell guarantees that work takes him away at awkward intervals. i dont know whether anything is right anymore and im quite sure there would come a time where 'the job' and 'the girl' will come to a head. all is fair in love and war... we'll see.

liddat lor...

i know coming up with apologies the moment i blog is becoming pretty tiresome... so for that simple reason, im not going to :) but me being me, i have to somewhat justify my absence from my own blog! a separate reason that makes me anti-blog is blogger's inefficiency in logging in...farking susah man, blady irritating at most times...

neways, been sick as a pig for about 2 weeks and currently i just reached recovery status, with a little hem hem here and there. doc says i should be feeling at my peak about 10days after my meds are done. so right now ive actually whizzed past 5 days post-meds. good eh...yeah, it is good to feel like myself again.

today is actually the start of a long haul of holidays for me... took 2 days off initially to fly off to thailand for a short hula-hula but didnt make it after all. so my babes and i are just gonna lepak and head on down to the homedec exhibition at KLCC for the afternoon. he's preparing home decor ideas and future contacts for his new place lah, which is why we're heading there. tomorrow kristie, james, babes and i are driving down to melaka to see my family...most of em who matter lah anyway. my daddy-o,mamma mia, my ahma and grandaunt will be there!!! we will eat eat and laugh laugh for the 2days 1nighter then come on back to kl cos some of us still gotta work.

like i said, its a long stretch of hols aight, so we would still have about 3 days to kill... thing is, everybody's flitting from one town to the other, so it wouldnt be very advisable to go on rushing to another town after melaka! haiyah, see how lah... anyway i wanna go do something with my hair also... rather exciting lah the prospect of it, but scary at the same time... maybe you guys can give me my next hairstyle guide...! hehe...thanks a lot then :) see yall real soon!

herd this week ahead

A Monday Poem

A hairline appears beneath the earth we tread

Air rises to spin in mismatched pulses

Clear skies set berth high winds and raised seas

Bored holes give way to trenches

Shalt not inquire of me why death yawns so.

she'll be comin round the mountain when she comes!

FEB: Going up to genting later today...yes, this very evening! Can't wait maaaan... It's Kaj's birthday today so i thought we celebrate by taking it up to the mountains for some fresh air! update yall soon... :)))

MAY: its waaaay ahead in the month of may and i just thought i would add in a picture of us both from genting for some kinda closure to this post :P we had lotsa together time and enjoyed sipping hot chocolate and coffee in the chill that uncle lim's playground is renowned for!

we also checked out the new rides in the outdoor theme park and totally lost it in the repetition of mind-boggling (literally!) rides! the better part of it was that i wore a denim skirt for the day (silly? yeah i know now) and went for all the caged 360 degree rides anyway! haha... :) first world hotel and the adjoining one next to it has grown so much in terms of new exciting developments... we were dazzled by all there was to offer and practically feasted our senses and pocketmoney there. would we go again? i dunno...lets just say free concert passes might warrant another visit! until then... its hello KL!

bliss blaat blaarp. hehe.

Mi dear amigos Vishnu and his wife Denise registered last year and last saturday was their wedding dinner. Quite awesome actually...twas a garden wedding with tables, red carpet, pedestal and stage...the works.

Another good thing was i managed to meet up with some fun friends whom i used to work with when i was with Astro. We drank a lil here and there...talked of good logical kick-ass brainy material...of some crap too...come to think of it, and oh course the topic veered towards my babes as well. Everybody didnt get to be updated on my "social life" since i left TPM area, so... kena drilling la..! hehe... They asked me how he was like, how he treated me and (some buayas) asked if it was really serious...the prats.

Yea its serious...i think :P (noooo, jangan pukul i!) hehe...kidding la, i can just imagine the look on his face if my busy lil bee manages to read my blog from time to time! Anyway im actually quite tired...understandable and all y know, since my brain got fried at work :) Neways, take care all...will continue another day. Kindly leave your valuable opinion(s) here if you're itching to say...anything! TTFN!

oonga oonga!

A tiny revelation came to me just now while i was indulging a rather bad habit outside the house. A bottle of iced tea accompanied me in the process of... y' know, rehydrating while being dehydrated? hehe :P
It may be that i have nothing fantastically exciting to put up this time, but i have to boast a lil' bit about this new iced tea on the market!
No, it's nothing like some black-pearl-shitey-oohlala in some new age cafe. And no, it's not some new isotonic "water" that does not taste like the good ol' h20! *drumroll pls* It's the new iced tea in RED by this L brand! I'll tell you what makes this a class above the rest :) It's noticeably unsweetened, it's RED (colour makes it cool too) and it's decaffeinated! That's right, the L people used the extract of Rooibos tea, or also known as the "red bush" tea.
This might interest you (found some backups on an academic site):

"... the only known source of some essential phytochemicals. Studies indicate that these help to prevent cardiovascular disease, some cancers and stroke. Because rooibos contains NO CAFFEINE, it is suited for babies and children. It has been proven to assist mothers in relieving babies with colic..."

So...there you go :) Have fun, go on and enjoy life with iced tea by the beach but watch those caffeine levels, make sure they won't make you go through the roof! TTFN! :)

kewlness

My dearest sister Kristie nagged at me for not regularly updating my blog. So... here goes. Been busy as u s u a l... work schedule has been okay but challenges have been slightly more daunting than most i've encountered before. All's well that ends well now, so everything's just peachy :)
Lifestyle-wise, couldnt ask for more really... Kaj is just fab and i actually think we adore each other for the same litany of reasons! Family is also going with the flow with regard to business and their respective social circles so oh well, aint no complaints there! I'm actually dozing off already...sorry for the frequent excerpts i put up from time to time! Hope i be able to dump some thoughts here soon. Take care yall.....muaks!
